A better schedule
Inspect after major seasonal leaf drop, after wind or hail events that may move debris, and whenever you see overflow. If you repeatedly find heavy buildup, shorten the interval. If the system stays clear, you may not need the same frequency as a tree-heavy property.
Safety matters
High rooflines, steep slopes, wet surfaces, and icy conditions make gutter access risky. If cleaning requires unsafe ladder or roof work, professional service is the better option.
